Affiliations
Harbord Diggers Chess Club is affiliated with the NSW Chess Association, and has a close relationship with Norths Chess Club through the Centenary Shield Competition, and also through those who are members of both clubs.
History
The Harbord Diggers Chess Club was established over fifty years ago. For over forty years, the club operated at the Manly-Warringah Leagues club, during which time it was known as the Manly-Warringah Rugby League Chess Club; the name was changed when the club moved to the Harbord Diggers Club several years ago.
